Alfred Christopher Cefarilli

I would like to thank you all for coming to my father Alfred Christopher Cefarilli's services today. For those who do not know me I am his youngest daughter Angela, and we are here to celebrate Freddy.

As you know my father was a funny guy he loved hearing and telling a good joke, and he was all about having a good time.

He believed in the power of positive mental attitude and what you put out you get out and that made him a very successful man and his children were very proud of him. He loved baseball and old cars. He was a huge Yankees fan and never missed a game. He restored old cars and I will never forget his old Monte Carlo or his 34 Ford Coupe they were beautiful and he loved to bring them to the local burger joints around town to show them off, but as you can see here he also loved putting his model cars together and had quite a collection.

As a child and I know my sister remembers this, our favorite Christmas. We got snowed in and Fred had us go outside to help shovel but it turned out to be a huge snowball war and he even let us throw snow at him inside the car that he got stuck in the street and he didn't even care about that either. It was a great day my mother made chicken for dinner and we played with our presents it was a great great memory.

He took us to Seabreeze and let us ride the rides all day and then started playing this game to win Linda a giant blue kangaroo and he refused to leave the amusement park until he won that kangaroo the park was about to close when he got that blue kangaroo but she got it.

He had funny nicknames for us when we were growing up, well for my sisters anyways Pati was Fatty Pati, and Linda was Lindy Bindy, and I was always just Ang until I got older and then I turned into Buddy and I can honestly say that my father was indeed my Buddy.

We took care of each other, he took care of me financially throughout the years and I took care of him when he needed me. That is why saying goodbye to him is going to be so hard today and I am choosing not to do that, instead I am going to say see you on the other side and save a seat for me with you and Linda I love you Daddy.

  • In conclusion a poem.
  • When I close my eyes I see your handsome face.
  • A love of a father can not be replaced.
  • I wonder everyday what am I to do?
  • Now that I have to live my life without you.
  • You were my shelter from the storm.
  • You kept me safe from any harm.
  • I would not have the fear of living the rest of my life without you here.
  • My confidant until the end, the only one that understands me, my Buddy.
  • Even though I know you are no longer in pain.
  • Dancing in heaven with loved ones we have not seen in so long.
  • For that alone I want to rejoice, but what I would not do to hear your voice.
  • If God had given me the choice I would still have you here.
  • For my father I will forever miss you and hold you near.
  • More than a father you were my best friend.

Linda Ann Cefarilli

I would like to thank you all for attending Linda Ann Cefarilli's services today. For those of you who don't know me I am her baby sister Angela, and we are here to celebrate Linda's life rather than her passing.

Linda was a generous and giving person who would open her home to anyone in need of a place to stay. She was very compassionate and never judged, giving everyone more than a fair chance. Linda was the type of person you could count on, and was always there when you needed her. She would definitely drop everything just to help someone out.

I remember growing up together and sharing a bedroom for the longest time, which is where our bond probably formed. We would stay up past our bed time talking or playing quietly so our parents did not hear us and we didn't get in trouble. We were always together and shared a lot of the same friends throughout the years and made so many great memories together that I could go on for hours. We loved to have fun together and partied like rock stars.

Linda was always doing things to make you feel special or make your day extra special. She would always send me flowers to school on Valentine's Day and sign them from someone special so everyone would think that I had a boyfriend. That is what she would do for the people she loved, she would go above and beyond for them. She made sure their birthdays were special as well, like when she sent me a singing teddy bear to my job or when she sent flowers and balloons to our sister Pati's job. She was always doing something to make you feel loved and special.

The most recent memory I have with my dear sister Linda is driving around in her car talking about this very moment and singing the tribute song to Biggie Smalls, "I'll Be Missing You ! " She told me how she wanted it played at her funeral but of course the church can't accommodate us for that, but know it will be blasted in our cars afterwards in tribute to you my sister, because know that, "Every step I take, Every move I make , I'll be missing you!"

  • In conclusion I would like to read a poem I wrote for my sister.
  • Your eyes I will no longer see.
  • Your laughter I will no longer hear.
  • I can't quite understand why God chose to take a life so dear.
  • You were my sister, you were my life.
  • You were a mother, not yet a wife.
  • So many things you are not going to be able to do.
  • My kids will grow up without you.
  • All of this seems so unfair.
  • To wake up everyday without you there.
  • They say everything happens for a reason and for this I do not know, but one thing I can say for sure my dearest sister is that I will never let you go.
